▶ Do you sell generators?
We do not supply generators.
▶ Should I buy gasoline or propane/natural gas?
You’ll never run of a natural gas for your generator when you hook up to the natural gas grid. But they can be costly generators. Gasoline generators usually run for 7 hrs+ getting you through the night. And there are tricks to setting up external gasoline jug for extended run time.
▶ Do I need to buy the 240V version or just the 120V?
It depends, do you have an appliance that’s 240V that you need to run on the generator like a stove or a dryer? If not, stick with the 120V it’s cheaper and simpler. If you can find a 120V with 240V optional outlet – great.
▶ What if I just want to run the essentials like fridge and gas/oil furnace?
You’ll need 2000-3000W
▶ I have a 4 bedroom colonial single family home, what type of generator do I need?
To run almost the entire house, you’ll need at least 5000W rated generator

There may be a loose connection somewhere on the circuit or the circuit is overloaded.
